EMERGENCY ALARM BUTTON
for Mainline & Mass-transit Vehicles
A Emergency Alarm Button shall be installed at passenger exterior doorway in the car. In case of emergency the passenger pushes this button to generate an alarm for the train driver.
- Emergency Alarm Button switch shall be fixed to the molding.
- The passenger alarm button shall provide one normally closed (NC) and one normally open (NO), volt free contact set.
- The large red circular button is mechanically latched and is reset by inserting and turning a square Carriage Key in a clockwise direction.
- The button shall be red in colour, having a central part with the square key-hole; this central part is silver in colour.
